news! According to new research from University of Massachusetts
Lowells Professor Thomas Shea, nutrients in apples and apple
juice may improve memory and learning. Dr. Sheas study suggests
that apple juice may protect against oxidative damage that contributes
to age-related brain disorders such as Alzheimers disease,
and may help to maintain brain performance indicating that
eating apples and drinking apple cider and apple juice may impact
our brains health and mental acuity throughout life. Dr. Sheas
research is being published in the international Journal on Nutrition,
Health and Aging.
So that old adage about an apple a day may apply to
brain health food for thought!
