New York Apple Country® Recipe 1 can (21 oz.) apple pie filling DIRECTIONS Add onion, apple friut filling and carrots. Stir to combine. In a small fry pan, melt an additional 2 tbsp, butter. Add brown sugar, cinnamon and pecans; cook on medium heat until pecans become coated with sugar mixture. Pour pecans over carrot mixture. Bake in preheated 350° F oven for 1 hour 15 minutes or until carrots are tender. Serve hot as a side dish. Makes 8 servings |
