Apple and Cheese Omelet

Adding a quarter cup of applesauce to your favorite omelet creates a delicious and filling meal everyone will enjoy!

Ingredients

For 2 Serving(s)

  • 1 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup applesauce
  • 1/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Cooking time: 5m

Directions

  1. In an 8-inch skillet, heat butter to bubbling.
  2. Beat eggs with salt and pepper. Add to skillet, swirling to distribute eggs.
  3. Cook about two minutes until slightly set. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese on eggs and top with apple sauce.
  4. Cook another minute or two, fold omelet to cover filling. Turn out onto warmed plate.
