New York Tangy Apple Salad

A refreshing salad that's very easy to prepare. Try it with vanilla yogurt for a slightly sweet flavor.


For 5 Serving(s)

  • 3 New York State apples
  • 2/3 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) orange marmalade
  • 4 heads Boston or Bibb lettuce (or 1 head Romaine lettuce)
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Preparation time: 5m


  1. Mix yogurt with marmalade and pepper. Tear lettuce into bite size pieces. Cut apples into small cubes. Mix lettuce, apples, almonds, and dressing. Serve immediately.
