Moist and Fudgy Applesauce Brownies

Substituting applesauce for the oil and water in your favorite brownie mix creates a delightfully moist treat.

Ingredients

For 15 Serving(s)

  • 1 cup(s) Applesauce
  • 1 package (22 oz.) brownie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped

Cooking time:   30m

Directions

  1. Mix together brownie mix, apple sauce, egg and pecans. (Batter will be lumpy.)
  2. Spread evenly in greased 13″ x 9″ x 2″ baking pan.
  3. Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for 30 minutes.
  4. Cool. Cut into bars.
